Mostly Perseids Meteor Shower

• Astronomers recorded 1,706 meteors during the night of August 12-13, 2026, using four specialized cameras at an observatory in Czechia.
• The display was dominated by the 2026 Perseid Meteor Shower, with most trails tracing back to a radiant in the constellation Perseus.
• Other, less active showers were also captured, including the Kappa Cygnids from the constellation Cygnus and the antihelion complex near Aquarius.
