NASA to Showcase Agency’s Newest Wind Tunnel in Virginia

• NASA has constructed the Flight Dynamics Research Facility at its Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, representing the agency’s first major wind tunnel built in over 40 years.
• A media tour and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on July 31, featuring NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, center director Dr. Trina Dyal, and GSA Administrator Edward C. Forst.
• The state-of-the-art facility is designed to support aeronautics and exploration research, specifically aiding NASA's Artemis program and the development of a lunar base.
